“The Truth” is a short film I created while the pandemic was unfolding. Film makers around the world found themselves jobless and with time to their disposal. This led to Dean Tucker hosting the “Quarantined Film Festival” together with Epidemic Sound, which took place on YouTube. It was a competition to create a short film alone at home and tell a story about the quarantine. The project was written, filmed and edited in six days to meet the deadline of the competition.
A couple weeks later Dean Tucker announced the winner of the competition and from all films this one was first place! :))
A couple weeks after that a similar competition with the same rules was hosted on YouTube by the film maker Matti Hapooja. I sent the short film to this festival too and won first prize again!? :o
